Kauvery Hospital Executive Director Dr. Aravdindan Selvaraj said in a clinical notice that the AIADMK pioneer inhaled his keep going on Friday night. “With profound pain, we declare the tragic death of Honorable Minister for Agriculture R Doraikkannu on Saturday at 11.15 pm. Our musings and petitions are with the lamenting family during this troublesome period,” the announcement added.
Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit paid recognitions for the priest and said that Doraikkannu “was known for his effortlessness, humbleness, straightforwardness, administration aptitudes and duty towards the government assistance of cultivating network”. “He took care of Ministry of Agriculture with full devotion and engraved his solid imprint. His troublesome downfall is a hopeless misfortune to the individuals of Tamil Nadu and especially to the AIADMK party,” the Governor was cited as saying by news organization PTI.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami had visited Doraikkannu in the clinic on Saturday.
Doraikkannu won Assembly political decision from Papanasam in 2006, 2011, and 2016. He was enlisted in the bureau unexpectedly by late boss clergyman J Jayalalithaa in 2016.
