Ashok Jagtap selected Mumbai Congress boss


The Congress on Saturday selected Ashok Jagtap as Mumbai Congress president and Charan Singh Sapra as working president.

Jagtap succeeds veteran pioneer Eknath Gaikwad, who was the acting president after Milind Deora quit following the gathering’s destruction in 2019 Lok Sabha decisions.

Ashok Jagtap, who is known as Bhai Jagtap in political circles, is a worker’s guild chief and previous official. Sapra, then again, began his innings with the gathering as an understudy chief.
