The Congress party on Wednesday said that an official conclusion on shaping the non-BJP DDC (locale improvement gathering) in Jammu and Kashmir, at places where Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) isn’t in lion’s share, will be taken by the gathering’s central leadership.
Out of the 278 seats for which results have been proclaimed by the J&K Election Commission up until this point, the Congress party sacked 26 seats in DDC surveys, which were held in eight stages on 280 seats across Jammu and Kashmir.
Post the consequences of DDC surveys, Ravinder Sharma, Spokesperson, Jammu, and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee told ANI, “We challenged DDC races with National Conference (NC)- drove collusion on seat sharing premise. We can consider framing a non-BJP region committee, at places where BJP isn’t in a larger part. An ultimate conclusion will be taken by Congress High Command.”
“Just five out of twenty regions, BJP got lion’s share, while in rest it is either Congress or other non-BJP parties. We will consider supporting non-BJP parties where BJP isn’t in lion’s share yet an ultimate choice will be taken by High Command,” he added.
Jammu and Kashmir Election Commissioner KK Sharma announced the outcome for DDC Elections on Wednesday, as per which BJP won 75, NC stowed 67 seats Independent enrolled triumph on 50 seats, PDP won 27 seats, Congress got 26 seats, JKAP sacked 12 seats, JKPC won 8 seats, JKPM won 3 seats, CPI(M) picked up 5 seats while JKNPP and PDF won 2 seats each and BSP packed away 1 seat.
