Farooq Abdullah not permitted to leave home to offer supplications, claims NC

Farooq Abdullah

The National Conference (NC) on Friday asserted that experts in Jammu and Kashmir forestalled its leader Farooq Abdullah from leaving his home to offer supplications at the Hazratbal place of worship here on the event of Milad-un-Nabi.

No official from the organization was accessible for remarks on the issue.

“J&K organization hosts obstructed the habitation of Get-together President Dr. Farooq Abdullah and prevented him from offering supplications at Dargah Hazratbal. JKNC censures this encroachment of essential option to ask, particularly on the propitious event of Milad Un Nabi SAW,” the NC said on its Twitter handle.

Farooq Abdullah, who speaks to Srinagar in the Lok Sabha, should visit the Hazratbal altar, on the banks of the Dal Lake, to supplicate there on the event.

Milad-un-Nabi marks the birth commemoration of Prophet Muhammad and it is seen in the period of Rabi’ al-awwal, the third month in the Islamic schedule.
