Four held for waving saffron banner at Taj Mahal complex

Four individuals were captured in Agra on Monday after they waved saffron banners at the Taj Mahal complex, police said.

The CISF faculty conveyed at the notable spot caught them after which they were given over to police.

The video of the men waving saffron banners circulated around the web via web-based media. The viral video shows two men holding up banners and confronting the camera in a gathering while someone else records a video.

Tajganj police headquarters Inspector Umesh Chandra Tripathi said three individuals waved banners at the Taj Mahal complex under the authority of traditional pioneer Gaurav Thakur.

Police have enlisted a body of evidence against them, he said.

Reports said that the four men have a place with a conservative outfit called the Hindu Jagran Manch. While Thakur is the association’s area president, three others were distinguished as Rishi Lavania, Sonu Baghel, and Vishesh Kumar.
