Anil Kumar Saumitra, top of the BJP media cell in Madhya Pradesh until he was suspended by the gathering a year ago for considering Mahatma Gandhi the “father of Pakistan”, has been selected educator at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), one of the chief mass correspondence establishments in the nation.
Saumitra was suspended from the BJP’s essential enrollment in May 2019 after his comments against Mahatma Gandhi. The BJP said his online media posts were against the gathering’s morals, thoughts, and standards, and had influenced its picture.
In a Facebook post, Saumitra had said of the Mahatma: “He was the father of the country, however of Pakistan. The nation had crores of children like him, some were commendable, some shameful.”

In a letter to Sumitra Mahajan, who was then MP from Indore and leader of Pandit Deendayal Vichar Prakashan, Saumitra stated, “I have been dealt with like a lawbreaker. I was chosen as a manager because of my RSS foundation and philosophical duty”. The letter was likewise replicated to RSS pioneers Mohan Bhagwat, Suresh Joshi and Suresh Soni, BJP pioneers Rajnath Singh, L K Advani, and state pioneers including Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
